The recently renovated Hollow on the Square Hotel is well situated, close to the V&A Waterfront and ± 25-40 minutes’ drive from Cape Town International Airport. On the ground floor of the hotel, guests will find the 24-hour reception desk, a relaxed lounge and waiting area, a trendy bar and our à la carte restaurant. Enjoy relaxed dining at our on-site restaurant – Eighty-Ate Squared – with a menu featuring familiar favourites as well as South African-inspired cuisine. The restaurant and bar area open up onto historic Ryk Tulbagh Square, where guests can dine al fresco and experience the street café ambiance characteristic of Cape Town’s restaurant scene.

Considering the hotel is located in the centre of town, it is surprisingly quiet thanks to its position facing onto Tulbagh Square. But most visitors to Cape Town will not be spending all their time in the hotel as the ‘Mother City’ has so much to do and see. Conveniently, the hotel is within walking distance of the famous V&A Waterfront, Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and just minutes from other inner city shopping meccas such as Green Market Square, St Georges Mall and the beautiful Flower Market.

Note: Parking in the CBD is at a premium and our parking in the square is administered by a private company through the Town Council. The Hotel offers parking charged at R75 per day (subject to change).
